Graphite Pencil Portrait Contest

This contest is open to anyone who enjoys drawing graphite portraits. No money involved, just prestige! imply e-mail your portrait to pencilsandpixlesart.com, and include your name and country, and you will be entered in the current contest. Portraits can be of any person, including celebrities. Contests are run twice a year from January 1st to April 30 and from May 1st to December 31.

Just a few simple guidelines to follow:

 

1. Portraits must be received by the second to last day of the month. (Example, last day of the month is 31, entries must be sent by the 30th.)

 

2. Portrait must be rendered in graphite, charcoal, or a combination of the two. To submit a colored pencil portrait, please enter the colored pencil portrait contest.

 

3. Drawings must be of people, and not be nude or offensive. Offensive portraits will not be accepted.

 

4. One submission per month for each artist.

 

Unlike other contests on the web, all entries will be displayed. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will be featured on a special page on pencilsandpixelsart.com. Included will be their portrait entry, name, and country. 1st place winners receive the inclusion of a short biography, and link to their web site for one month. The winners will also receive an image, with a link to the page where their winning entries are displayed, to put on their web site if they wish. Examples of these are shown below.
